World of Beer is blowing up this week. There’s tons going on at the always-busy Coconut Creek watering hole, enough to keep you occupied almost every day of the week.
The happenings start tonight at 7 when local brewer Bob Gordash, owner of Gordash Beer Co., will stop in to sample his latest beer, Panic Attack. This spicy, 10 percent Belgian ale with Golding hops
and aggressive yeast will be sampled freely, while Gordash and the
World of Beer crew talk shop and hand out free glassware and T-shirts.
Sekond Nature Duo will also perform live on stage starting at 7 p.m.
World
of Beer also has a pretty nifty Sunday lined up for football fans. The
beer bar will host an NFL Football Pool where fantasy gurus can place
their picks. Winners will get giveaways like branded hoodies, hats, and
T-shirts, plus the best prize of all: free beer. Also free: a spread of
hot dogs and brats courtesy of 160 Degrees next door, from 1 to 4 p.m.
Free food, football, and brews? There’s a new sports spot in town.
