Although many are working on developing better treatments for cancer, plenty of work still needs to be done. Do your part to help breast-cancer research by having some fun on Sunday, February 23, from noon to 7 p.m. Stout Bar & Grill and Glam-a-thon are hosting a fundraiser where 50 percent of all food and drink purchases will be donated to the charity. The event includes music, raffles, prizes for best pink outfits, a pink blarney stone ice luge, a specialty pink craft beer created by Funky Buddha, and, at 6 p.m., a lighting of a 28-foot pink LED tree to honor those who have experienced the disease.
