The Miami Dolphins have been road warriors this season, going into
places like Green Bay, Minnesota, Buffalo, and Cincinnati and emerging
victorious. Their home games, however, are quite a different story. In
the three games the Fins have played at the supposedly friendly
confines of Sun Life Stadium (2269 Dan Marino Blvd., Miami Gardens),
they’ve allowed a combined 95 points to the visiting teams, dropping
all three games. Perhaps this has to do with scheduling or just bad
luck. Or maybe — just maybe — it has a little something to do with
the fact that the team’s owner has turned the stadium into a orange-
plagued circus complete with C-list celebrities, in-stadium
nightclubs, and J-Lo’s disproportionately giant ass. It’s become a
place occupied with everything but football. The boys have enough
trouble trying to concentrate on not scoring touchdowns! This Sunday,
the Fins host the Tennessee Titans. Let’s hope the home cooking works
this time around. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. Tickets start at $52. Visit
