Summer is ending. Due to the accompanying heat, you’ve hardly had a chance to celebrate the season; don’t let it slip away without saying goodbye. Tonight is the perfect chance to spend some quality time before bidding it farewell: It’s the final Summer Sushi and Stroll at the Morikami (4000 Morikami Park Rd., Delray Beach). For only a five dollar admission price, you can perch yourself with the artfully landscaped grounds and savor the watercolor brilliance of our Florida summer sunset. You can also make a date of it by dining on a special inclusive meal from the Morikami’s Cornell Café: for $13.95 you’ll be treated to soup or salad; any from a long list of sushi, noodle, and spicy curry dishes; and a cold drink to slurp it all down with.

The most spectacular thing about this one-night event is the performance by the Ronin Taiko Drummers. Their hard-hitting, high-energy blend of dance and explosive percussion draws sold-out crowds in theater and cultural venues, but tonight you can see them for free with admission. What better way to send summer out with a (drum) bang? Sushi and Stroll runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Call 561-495-0233, or visit www.morikami.org.

Fri., Sept. 14
