North of the Miami-Dade County border, we tend to get the shaft in terms of cool events. South Beach gets its food festival. Miami, the Winter Music Conference. Us? Zip, usually. Not this time. All this week, Vibe will be running its own version of the Winter Music Conference, meaning you can check out some awesome music without the fear of dying in a Miami traffic accident.
Thursday night, German Garcia will showcase talent from his new Xima Records label. Friday, it’s Joe Maz. Saturday night: Forte with DJ Scotty Boy (resident DJ at Marquee in Vegas).
