Halloween is universal: Whether you’re rich or poor, conservative or liberal, dressing up in costume and parading around is good fun. Well, here’s a chance for Palm Beach Islanders to let their hair down a little… or anyone else up to make the drive. Cafe Boulud — Chef Daniel Boulud’s restaurant in Palm Beach’s Brazilian Court Hotel — is hosting a Haunted Halloween party that will put the “fun” back in “funded.”
It starts Saturday at 6 p.m. with a mixer full of creepy cocktails
like the “Bloody Caipirihina,” Mary’s Latin cousin. A chef-carved
pumpkin display will allow guests to choose a favorite, then it’s off
to the costume contest at 7 p.m. where the best dressed can win a
complimentary brunch for four. Starting at 9 p.m., DJ Nick Flash will
take over on the decks, while Samba dancers command the courtyard and a
fortune teller starts doling out advice for the future (hint: stay out
of that private investment scam!).
While you could show up to trick or treat, reservations to stay at this party are a must — nab them by calling 561-655-6060.
