While the comfortably familiar tradition of Oktoberfest rages on — how are those lederhosen holding up, by the way? — there are also a few new events to check out this weekend, including a new concert series in Delray Beach. Friday night will see the launch of “Mix of Music for the Masses,” a free weekly concert series at Old School Square. The job of feeding said masses will be handled by a food-truck rally — with trucks like B.C. Tacos, 4Alarm Pizza, Kona Ice, gastroPod, Tango Grill, and Slow Food Truck — on premises and a cash bar, to boot.

The concert is 7 to 10:30 p.m., rain or shine, with Amber Leigh performing. You can bring a lawn chair or blanket, but no outside food or drinks are allowed.
