It seems like there is a food holiday almost every day of the year: National S’mores day, National Burger Day, National Beer Day, National Hot Dog Day, National Nachos Day. There’s even a National Pizza With the Works Except Anchovies Day. No, seriously.
Well, today is one of the better food holidays of the year–let’s be honest, the inclusion of alcohol helps. It’s National Tequila Day and Rocco’s Tacos and Tequila Bar is offering specials to commemorate.

Today all four locations — Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and Palm Beach Gardens — will be offering multiple tequila specials to put you in the mood for the celebration of all things margarita. The bar is featuring $5 Milagro Margaritas, $6 Prickly Pear Milagro Margaritas, and $15 Pitchers of Milagro Margaritas. Plus, after 9:00pm all bottles of tequila under 200 bucks are half price.
For those of you looking to save some cash — i.e. stay at home — Rocco’s has released its signature margarita recipe.
The Rocco’s Tacos Margarita includes:2.5 ounces Camarena Silver Tequila1.5 ounces Triple Sec4 ounces Fresh Sour MixSalt the rim of the glass. Shake well. Pour mixture over ice and garnish with a lime. Enjoy.
