“totally awesome entertainment award” has to go to Plantation’s Hot Stuff Grille. It’s not every restaurant that would plan a combination wrestling match, hot dog eating contest, and charity fundraiser all in one night, but Hot Stuff Grille seized the opportunity.
This Friday at 8 p.m., Hot Stuff Grille’s “Party on the Porch” will feature live championship wrestling. Several matches are scheduled, including a tag-team championship, and junior heavyweight matches featuring Scott Passion versus Vinnie Ramagucci and “The Great” Pablo Marques versus “The Lounge Lizard” Maxwell Chicago. The main event will feature a match between SFW Heavyweight Champion “Mr. Don’t Stop, Get It, Get It” Bobby Sanford and “The 5 Star Superstar” Maxx Stardom.
A hot dog eating contest at 6 p.m. will kick off the night’s festivities, and 10 percent of all sales this Friday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. will be donated to the South Plantation High School’s Solar Knights, a solar car group. The SPHS’ solar car will be on hand for photo opportunities.
Hot Stuff Grille is a drive-in and walk-up restaurant that features burgers, hot dogs, wings, sandwiches, and breakfast all day.
