Gregg Allman is of course the only surviving eponymous brother in the Allman Brothers Band. Solo, Gregg Allman still enjoys the kind of hallowed status bestowed by fans both young and old. While ABB is known for balls-out Southern rock, Gregg Allman’s material on his own bears more hallmarks of blues and soul.
