Kudos to our sister blog Crossfade for pointing out the super-powered combo of Miami faves Major Lazer (Switch and Diplo) and English electro-pop act La Roux on a new mixtape, Lazerproof, which just hit the web for free download via Mad Decent. Big-name guests on the collaboration include Gucci Mane, Drake, and Amanda Blank. And, we’ll be darned, but La Roux’s Elly Jackson looks better in the Ironman suit than Robert Downey Jr. by a long shot.
As we mentioned earlier this month, La Roux will perform at Culture Room in Fort Lauderdale on August 4.
