Oliver Stone Appearance at Broward Center Canceled “for a Variety of Factors”

Bad news, bros. Oliver Stone isn’t coming to Broward. The “Satire and Controversey: An Evening With Oliver Stone” event, scheduled for Saturday, January 5, was canceled. We know. We were excited too. 
Broward Center for the Performing Arts, where the appearance was supposed to take place, made the earlier on their Facebook page. 
There are a bit vague on the reasons which seem to amount to the conclusion that: “It’s complicated.”

Mark Pollack:In the wake of a variety of factors we unfortunately have to announce that this event has officially been cancelled! We really appreciate your support. Tickets will be refunded to your card if you have purchased advanced tickets. For further details on that please contact Broward Center. We have several other engagements for the beginning of the new year which we will be announcing at the beginning of the week!

There’s no word yet on whether the appearance will be rescheduled, but we will let you know as soon as we find out. In the meantime, if you are a heartbroken, die-hard Stone fan, try asking the man yourself via Twitter: @TheOliverStone.
