We all have been waiting for the day Casey Anthony shows her face in public since she was acquitted of murder in the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.

Today was that day (unless you count a possible spotting at a Lake Worth Flannies).

Anthony arrived at the federal courthouse in Tampa with her attorney, Cheney Mason, Monday morning to go over her recent bankruptcy filing.

Anthony filed for bankruptcy back in January after she claimed to have almost $800,000 in liabilities.

She was mobbed by photogs and media alike and was described as having “long and dark” hair and wearing sunglasses, black heels, and stockings. She was also reportedly carrying a black hat.

Because, relevance!

As for her bankruptcy filing: Casey says she owes 800 grand to 80 different creditors and claims that she has no income (until the inevitable book she writes, of course).

Anthony reportedly listed about $1,000 worth of personal property, such as $474 cash, $200 worth in furniture and a laptop, and $300 in jewelry and clothes.

She’s also apparently defending herself against several civil lawsuits. One such lawsuit comes from Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez, who claims that her reputation was ruined by Anthony because, at the time of the investigation, Casey told authorities that the last time she saw her daughter was when she left her with Gonzalez at her apartment.

Gonzalez’s attorney, Matt Morgan, believes Anthony is filing bankruptcy to put off the civil suit case.

As you can see in the ABCNews video below, Anthony was mobbed by and had to be shielded from people holding microphones and cameras.

Poor little lamb.
