Why, it was just a couple of years ago that we had to wait for the paparazzi’s film to get developed, for magazines to be shipped off to the printer, and then wait for the mailman to bring our People magazine to find out that stars — they’re just like us on Christmas! Dennis Rodman returned Monday from his third trip to North Korea, but on Christmas Eve, Paddy Power, the Irish betting company that sponsored his last two trips there announced that it would no longer send him. The decision was a result of Jim Jong Un’s having ordered the execution of his own uncle. In a statement, the company said, “It was really a reaction to the worldwide focus and total condemnation of the North Korean regime over recent events. We don’t want to be associated with that.”
Evelyn Lozada, Miami-based reality TV star ad ex-wife of Chad (Ochocinco) Johnson, got engaged to Carl Crawford from the L.A. Dodgers. She is pregnant with the couple’s child.
