Brian Ross at ABC News is having a field day with these Foley instant messages. They just keep surfacing. The man has hit a very rich vein in a gold mine.
Now he and Maddy Sauer are reporting at The Blotter that Foley “interrupted a vote on the floor of the House in 2003 to engage in Internet sex with a high school student who had served as a congressional page.”
It’s becoming obvious that Foley’s transgressions, in fact, weren’t all committed in cyberspace. In more than one IM exchange, he talks about meeting with the page. In this newest one, he talks about drinking with the kid at his house so as not to get “busted.”
