Pro sports wives can be boring, pretentious, annoying, or anonymous. Some get their own vapid reality show; others blame their husband’s teammates publicly when the team loses. Some are just pretty; some are just not at all seen.
And then there’s Miko Grimes, wife of Miami Dolphins cornerback Brent Grimes.
Brent Grimes, who has actually been the one lone bright spot to an otherwise abysmal Dolphins season, arrived in Miami just this season via free agency. And Miko arrived like a cyclone, introducing herself to our world when she gave Brent a very naughty birthday cake.
But where Miko really makes her mark is on her Twitter. In the athletes’ world of wives and girlfriends, she’s brash, honest, hilarious, dirty, and downright pretty much the best Dolphins WAG, period.
She interacts with her followers and even gives out tickets and jerseys just for fun.
Brent becomes a free agent at the end of this year. And while he’s a great player, really the only reason we want him back in Miami is because we don’t want to see Miko go.
